Warm Homes: Local Grant
Household income under £36,000 and an EPC of D or below? Your local council could fund insulation, a heat pump, or both. The Warm Homes: Local Grant is the newest part of the government's £15 billion Warm Homes Plan, and councils across England are taking applications now.

Am I eligible?
Three criteria. All three need to be met.
Your household income needs to be £36,000 or less. Your property needs an EPC rating of D, E, F, or G. And you need to be in England, because this is an England-only programme (Scotland and Wales run their own devolved schemes).
That income threshold is higher than most people expect. £36,000 household income covers a significant chunk of working households, not just those on benefits. If you're a couple each earning £18,000, you qualify. If you're a single earner on £35,000, you qualify. This isn't just a scheme for the lowest-income households.
